We are very proud to present the takeaways of our Puthri Ilakku event from our
stakeholders – the Corporates, the Institutions, and the Volunteers!
They are the integral part of our Puthri family, well-wishers and great supporters in our
journey of making 10,000 girl students, Career Intentional every year.
Flex India is privileged as a Title Sponsor to Avtar Human Capital Trust (AHCT) – Project
Puthri’s world-class event (Puthri Ilakku) that impacted thousands of young
underprivileged girls. This sponsorship also hopefully will brighten their future prospects
through technological skills development and career for a diverse, equitable & inclusive
workplace in India.
DEI is an important part of our flex strategy, the event was very well organized by
showcasing Puthri’s 5 years impressive work and entire days program was professionally
executed by your team, all staff were helpful and dedicated throughout the entire
process.
launching Project MITR (Men Impacting Trust & Respect) for creating a new generation of Male allies and advocates for women counterparts in
their future workplaces is really commendable. This will empower 10,000 adolescent boys to become empathetic ‘gender champions’ at the
grass root level and will create inclusive and equitable workplaces towards a gender netural society.
Our Heartfelt to Dr Saundarya
Rajesh, Managing Trustee - AHCT, Organizing Committee members, for the wonderful arrangement of the mega event and to the energetic school
students for their active engagement in speech and cultural programs.
It is a great pleasure working with your entire team and to collaborate with Avtar Human
Capital Trust (AHCT) in the future endeavors. We wish you all success in the journey
ahead.
Flex powered Puthri Ilakku event was a great success with impressive work and
memorable one to all of us!

At the outset I would like to express my sincere thanks for inviting our Department for participating in the Puthri Ilakku Event that was conducted on 6th of August 2022.
The programme was very interesting and thought provoking. It was coined in such a
manner that one would not miss even a second of the programme. The way it was
organised, the ambience, the venue and the time was so wonderful and amazing. It
really gave me a clear picture about how an organisation like Avtar and a Project like
Puthri can change the lives of those school children in building confidence and trust in
themselves and thereby act as a change maker in their life.
Doing the same for the past five years tirelessly even during the pandemic is really an
appreciable work.
I am spellbound by the beautiful god’s work that Avtar is doing..I on behalf of my
college is very proud of being associated with Avtar.
Thank you all for giving this beautiful opportunity to being part of the programme Puthri
Ilakku. As the name suggests it has achieved its Ilakku - meaning destination or goal.
Thank you once again with heartfelt gratitude

Being a part of project puthri for close to 5 years has been an experience of
transformation, learning and growth. I was able to see it all come together on the five
year celebrations of project puthri.
To see what I had always experienced in a small way, play out in a macro way during
the puthri ilakku, touching different stake holders - be it the puthri scholars, the teachers,
the corporates and the project implementers, all of whom came together for one great
cause - education and career intentionality of children from government schools.
The day marked the commencement of “mitr” - thereby recognising the need for
presence of male ally in a journey where men and women support each other. It will be
truly interesting to see how this plays out and impact project puthri even.
My most vivid memory from that day, was the smile in the faces of the puthri scholars
coupled with hope in their eyes.
A hope that encompasses of many possibilities, the kind of hope that would pave way
to a future that they would be proud of.

Ilakku, the recently concluded event of Project Puthri was visibly a grand event.
While sitting in the huge hall packed with "Puthris", a flash back of past
year celebrations ran through my mind, this year it stood grandeur.
Fortunate were those invited Puthris who were part of this corporate
event. Not every school going child gets an opportunity to attend such occasions.
These Puthris got platform to showcase their talents, listen to speeches of
industry stalwarts, interact with experienced people and a tasty buffet lunch.
I, sitting there as an audience just wished that, collective efforts of many people
should be well understood by their dear Puthris, and should land up well settled.
Mostly women and girls everywhere in auditorium, it was nicer to see the boy students from
government schools inaugurating the new initiative Project MITR (Men Impacting Trust and Respect) .
Volunteer base as always, was as busy as bee supporting the event in every possible way.
It was indeed a time to cherish, celebrate and rejuvenate.
Our wishes for more such events and great success of Puthri and MITR.
