We are proud and happy to share the news of our winning the PMI South Asia Awards 2021. Each year, PMI South Asia confers awards to organizations for executing projects with excellence. This year Avtar Human Capital Trust bagged the much-coveted Project of the year award in the NGO Category New Certificate Course for our Puthri Scholars: 
We are delighted to announce the introduction of 2 certificate courses for our Puthri Scholars from 9th grade to 12th & Post school Puthris this academic year.Puthri Career Pathing Program (for Post School Scholars) The much-awaited certificate course got launched after extensive research through surveys and study, it is called PCP - Puthri Career Pathing program. The Program is aimed at providing advanced and application-oriented skills to become career intentional in life and in preparing our dear Puthri scholars to bag white collar Jobs. PCP will focus on career development & preparatory sessions on competitive exams, digital skills, Communicative English corporate leaders' talk and personality grooming. These sessions are conducted during weekends for post-school Puthri scholars studying in colleges. 'Puthri 4 Tech Program' (For Puthri Scholars from Grade 9 to 12): The Program is devised for Puthri scholars belonging to Grade 9 to 12 who prefer to enhance their skills in Technology, Digital Literacy and Coding. The program is successfully implemented with the support of Cognizant Outreach. It provides an exciting journey on Tech, for Puthri scholars. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Puthri Career Choice Assessment program & distribution of Learning Devices 
We are elated to share that we completed the Career Choice Assessment for our Scholars at Pondicherry, Coimbatore and Chennai, crossing all the hurdles that the pandemic threw at us.Additionally, we distributed Learning Devices to the scholars who needed them the most, to accomplish their academic pursuits. We take this opportunity to thank all our donors & volunteers for their timely support. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Puthri Scholarship Program 
Project Puthri has launched the Puthri Scholarship Program in order to provide financial assistance to needy and deserving Puthri scholars who are pursuing their tertiary education in collegesCurrent Academic year around 30 such Puthri scholars were selected for Scholarships, 6 scholars have already received scholarship support till date. Efforts to support the remaining 24 Puthri scholars is currently in progress. We greatly believe that this new initiative will be instrumental in helping Puthri scholars achieve their dreams of getting into better careers in their lives.
